That’s a question I’m going to try to avoid.
I first thought about SulliChild’s hearing when I saw Dree Brees lift his young son into the air in Miami while celebrating his Super Bowl win.
His son, Baylen (not in SulliParents’ Top-Ten Name List), was wearing what appeared to be ’80s-style headphones. But they were actually protective headgear to protect ears and hearing loss. This is highlighted in a recent NY Times article.
As a person who spends a lot of time in loud sports arenas, this is something I will take seriously. Apparently, Peltor is a leader in the field.
In the article, a spokesperson in the field says loud noise should be treated like a hot stove providing some insight on the potential dangers. I mean, if Drew Brees and family use awesome earmuffs we will, too.
