Whad’ya Say Dad?

That’s a question I’m going to try to avoid.

I first thought about SulliChild’s hearing when I saw Dree Brees lift his young son into the air in Miami while celebrating his Super Bowl win.

His son, Baylen (not in SulliParents’ Top-Ten Name List), was wearing what appeared to be ’80s-style headphones. But they were actually protective headgear to protect ears and hearing loss. This is highlighted in a recent NY Times article.

As a person who spends a lot of time in loud sports arenas, this is something I will take seriously. Apparently, Peltor is a leader in the field.

In the article, a spokesperson in the field says loud noise should be treated like a hot stove providing some insight on the potential dangers. I mean, if Drew Brees and family use awesome earmuffs we will, too.

Here are some other products Brees endorses that I will now use–especially the sweet diapers:

Cox Communications
United Way
Pampers (Check out the commercial here)

I heard his agent is working on a new deal for Brees to endorse all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets.
