Much ballyhoo has been reported, tweeted and, of course, blogged about so-called Mommy Bloggers. Even Federal Trade Commission guidelines have been crafted to monitor these new beacons of consumerism.
What about the man of the house? Just because the female makes the majority of purchasing decisions doesn’t render us guys completely worthless…right?
The business of blogging is mesmerizing. It’s like Consumer Reports in real-time. Hello Corporate World–SulliDad is ready to be paid to blog about you!
Although this article in today’s NY Times highlights a mommy-blogging conference, another article from last summer says dad-blogs are on the uptick. Just in case anyone is reading out there, here are some of my favorite brands, many of which have nothing to do with fatherhood:
Miller High Life
Mirado Black Warrior Pencils
Baby Jogger City Mini
Neutrogena for Men
Kraft (Mac ‘N Cheese)
I’m sure there are plenty more. So, if there are any offers please reply to this post! Thanks, Mgmt.
LASTLY: We spent a little time in Kankakee today attending a mass at St. Pat’s for my dad. It was fun to see the family and thanks to K3-SulliGrandma for treating at breakfast at the K of C. SulliDad had some baby-holding practice time with the very adorable little one, Vivien, my cousin Andrea’s little lady.
